5 Reasons Why Ruth Bader Ginsburg Is One of Our Favorite Pisces

Aliza Faragher

'Tis the season for Supreme Court attention. On March 15, Notorious RBG turned 83 and keeps extending her record of being the biggest badass on the Supreme Court. Merrick Garland (Scorpio) has just been named to replace Justice Antonin Scalia (also a Pisces!) on the Supreme Court, but just because there's some new blood entering the highest court in the land, RBG stands out as one of the most influential and important justices in recent memory. Obama loves her and she is just an all-around legend. Happy birthday week, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This is why we love her so much.

Because this quote is literally everything

She basically parts the Red Sea of Congress

She exudes power and badassery, but you can tell she has a gentle heart

It's pretty clear Obama loves her like one of his own

No matter what, she is always wearing a great pair of earrings and can accessorize flawlessly

Thank you, RBG, for being a powerful voice and inspiration for women everywhere.

From The Vault: Sex and The City

Aliza Faragher

From The Vault is a series in which we analyze classic TV & Film characters to determine their matching astrological sign.

It's common knowledge that HBO is king when it comes to putting out the most edgy and envelope pushing media, but no one could have guessed that their 1998 series Sex and the City would become formative television for multiple generations of viewers. A show about four women in their 30s--single women who loved sex and didn't care what anyone thought about it--became one of the most popular programs of all time with iconic characters who carved their place in television history. With six seasons and two feature films, we've ridden every emotional roller coaster with Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha and couldn't be happier about it.

Carrie Bradshaw: Aquarius

There is not a single doubt in our minds: Carrie Bradshaw is a bonafide Aquarius. Just take a look at the girl--she is literally sauntering around Manhattan in a pink tutu during the show's opening credits. Beyond her at times questionable but mostly fabulous taste in fashion, Carrie is an aloof writer who communicates primarily in puns and hyperboles--it's a miracle anyone can understand what she's talking about half the time. Carrie is a ride-or-die friend and treats her her friends with the utmost respect and kindness which aligns perfectly with Aquarian ideals; these air signs value communication, friendship and equality above all else.

Miranda Hobbes: Capricorn

Miranda Hobbes, the no-nonsense lawyer of Sex and the City's friendship quartet is undoubtedly a Capricorn. Miranda is a woman with a plan: she's career-driven, she's pragmatic and she does not have time for anyone's shit. Miranda's workaholic tendencies are as Capricorn as it gets; these earth signs are practical, determined and ambitious. How else did she manage to have a flourishing career, maintain a social life and have a baby?

Charlotte York: Cancer

Sweet, sweet Charlotte York. This Upper East Side yuppie gets a hard time for being a certified baby about literally everything. But she can't help it! She's probably a Cancer and therefore ruled by the moon! Water signs are known as the sensitive creatures of the zodiac and Charlotte is no exception to this. The moon is the universe's symbol of feminine energy and Charlotte is obsessed with all things surrounding the image of home. The biggest romantic of the group, she wants matrimony and motherhood and she's not afraid to cry until she gets it.

Samantha Jones: Sagittarius

Last but not least, there's Samantha Jones. Out of the core four, Samantha is a true freak who couldn't be happier about it. A powerful PR executive by day, sexual deviant by night. Her adventurous spirit, optimism and outspoken honesty make Samantha a true Sagittarius. These fire signs love to wax philosophical and are always down for a good time. As the oldest of her friends, Samantha serves as a well of knowledge for her younger friends--Sagittarians love learning through experiences and sharing their newly found information with hopes of enriching the world. Plus, she's not afraid to give her friends a swift kick in the ass when they take life too seriously.

Bachelor Ben Has a Happy Ending!

Aliza Faragher

Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor ended on Monday in a dramatic yet not-that-dramatic episode where he battled with "indecisiveness" the entire time and was struggling to figure out which woman he wanted to propose to.  They were, of course, back at Sandals resort, which has its own helicopters! There's no better place to not know which woman you want to propose to on national TV than at a Sandals resort in Jamaica.

Lauren and Jojo meet the 'rents

The episode started off with Lauren meeting Ben's parents, and Mama and Pops Higgins seemed to enjoy Lauren. Ben's clear infatuation with her probably helped, but Mama Higgins and Lauren had an important conversation where Lauren was asking her what to do when times got rough. Mama Higgins didn't necessarily enjoy the fact that her son could be getting married to someone and they've never experienced any conflicts or hardships before. It seems, however, that Jojo and Ben had tough times, but that'll come soon enough. Lauren impressed the Higgins family, but one of the most noticeable traits about Lauren is that she absolutely fails to show any emotion whatsoever. Someone could tell her that her cat just ran away and she would still speak in the same monotone voice as she does now when she tells Ben she loves him.

Jojo, on the other hand, completely blew the Higgins parents away. They LOVED her, and it's hard not to. Jojo completely came out of left field this season, but she's proven to be one of the more real contestants on the show. She told Ben that she wanted him to be real with her. Jojo said, "I'm hurt and part of me feels really naive." The best part is that Jojo is in tune with what's happening with Ben and she won't let him go until he gives her a solid response. She even pulled him into the bathroom behind closed doors so he could give her a non-BS answer about how he was feeling.

Mama and Pops Higgins were extremely impressed by Jojo mostly because it seems that Ben and Jojo dealt with conflicts together and they had tough times. What? Did we miss something? There was the time Ben's family friend died and Jojo was the first one to actually comfort him (whereas Olivia had her #cankles moment). Jojo has always been a confidante for Ben mostly because Jojo is extremely genuine. She's also so beautiful and didn't want to listen to Ben's fake speech after he broke up with her. Stay real, Jojo.

Ben picks Lauren, Jojo is the next bachelorette

To no one's surprise, Ben proposes to Lauren and it's actually really cute. They seem genuinely happy together and hopefully their relationship can last longer than a few months. Ben proposed with a huuuuuuge Neil Lane diamond ring (can't have anything other than Neil Lane!) and it was cute because Ben called Lauren's dad before the proposal to get his blessing. That was a plot twist because the editing for the previews made it seem like Ben was having a breakdown and needed to call his mom. You got us there, Bachelor producers.  Lauren and Ben can now hang out in public together. We can only hope the real world works out for them and they can conquer some of these "tough times" together.

Also, Jojo will be the next Bachelorette! Some headlines came out recently that it would be Caila, but ABC announced that it would be Jojo. Phew! Jojo will be a refreshing bachelorette, and it'll definitely be interesting to see how she plays out with Aaron Rodgers's brother. It would also be a great plot twist if Jojo's ex-bf Chad (the one who sent her flowers) showed up. We can only wait and see!

Ben + Lauren in astrology land

Now the important stuff: once Ben and Lauren move past the honeymoon phase, how compatible are they actually? Ben is a Pisces-Aries cusp (almost his birthday!), and Lauren is an Aquarius.

The Aries-Aquarius matchup is a pretty powerful one. Both Aries and Aquarians are very independent and always up for a new adventure. This makes sense because Lauren is a flight attendant (although how will that change post-engagement?) and Ben likes doing things, such as swimming with pigs. Aries love focusing on themselves, whereas Aquarians care more about the common good first. Once they both can just communicate what they want and how they want it, their relationship will keep thriving and hopefully last a while.

The Pisces side of Ben also makes this an interesting match because Pisces love making the world a better place, just like Aquarians. Pisces definitely show more emotions than Aquarians—as we've noted above and clearly seen in Lauren's monotone voice and reaction to pretty much everything, Pisces are drawn to Aquarians because of they constant action and individuality. Ben and Lauren can definitely flourish if they appreciate each others's strengths and weaknesses.

Fingers crossed for Ben and Lauren! We can't wait to see what crazies show up on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette, You know we'll be front and center for it.

From the Vault: Friday Night Lights

Aliza Faragher

From The Vault is a series in which we analyze classic TV & Film characters to determine their matching astrological sign.

This weekend marks the beginning of South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin where none other than the President and First Lady will be headlining the festival. It's only fair that this week's From the Vault features not only one of the best television shows ever, but it also takes place in Texas.

Friday Night Lights is so much more than just football. Rather, it's a beautiful and moving story about love, family, friendship, and the impact that one coach and team can have on everyone else. If you've never seen this show and can't make it to Austin this weekend, buckle down on Netflix and binge watch FNL. You'll only be sorry you waited this long to watch it. Warning: spoilers ahead.

Jason Street: Capricorn

Simply put, Jason Street refused to give up. The poor guy became paralyzed his first game after tackling a player incorrectly. Jason, however, metaphorically got right back up and after a while, got into great shape and figured his life out. Sure, he had a few identity crises here and there and his trip to Mexico to get that cutting-edge surgery didn't work out too well, but Street always tried his hardest. He was born to be a coach, just like the perfect Capricorn.

Tim Riggins: Pisces

Oh, beautiful Tim Riggins. This show would be nothing without you. Riggins oozes Pisces soul and mentality. He's essentially always having sex, everyone is in love with him, he can flirt with just a quick stare, and he sacrificed his own future for his brother. Nothing screams Pisces more than that. Riggins was always infatuated by Lyla because she represented success and emotional availability, even when she wasn't emotionally available at all. Even though Riggins was such a rebel by dating the hot older neighbor for a hot sec as well as drinking all the time, he has such an old soul quality to him. He is and always live and breathe Texas Forever.

Matt Saracen: Libra

Libra's trademarks are relationships, and it's pretty clear that Matt doesn't function well when he isn't in one. Let's not even get started on his tryst with Carlotta. Matt scoped out Julie from the start and knew he wanted to be with her. It was fantastic when he awkwardly asked Coach to date Julie, but those good manners are the core of Libra's being. Matt as the powerful quarterback made him the center of the football team, and Libras thrive in the team environment. Matt represents all of our #relationshipgoals from Coach Taylor as his mentor to Landry as his bff.

Julie Taylor: Taurus

Julie Taylor can be a really polarizing character at times. We envy her when she's dating Matt (luckiest girl alive), but she also gets so unnecessarily mad at her loving parents. Granted, she is the daughter of the coach, and then surprisingly becomes a big sis in season 2. Julie loves attention and loves the love that Matt gives her, except when she has that random fling with the TA and the Swede. Julie's bullish side comes through as well, especially when she becomes friends with Tyra. Tauruses love consistency, and she knows Matt is the perfect one for her in the end because he's been there the entire time.

Tyra: Leo

Of all the flawless characters on this show, Tyra almost leads the pack as reigning champion. She went through Hell and back in order to fulfill her dreams, and she couldn't have done it without the help of Tami. No one ever gave Tyra a chance. She was powerful, strong, and beautiful, but everyone only saw her as a pretty face. But no, Tyra kicked ass at the end of high school and made herself eligible enough to get into University of Texas. Hook 'em, Tyra. You're perfect.

Vince: Scorpio

Vince had a lot to prove as quarterback for the East Dillon Lions. He went through a lot of soul-searching during his short two seasons on the show. Vince had a really hard home life, especially because his mom was a drug addict and he had an absentee father. Vince fell into some bad habits, but he was ultimately saved by coach. As soul-searching Scorpios do, Vince realized that his true strengths lie in being a leader for his team. His power, drive, and intensity turned his team into champs in just a short while.

Tami Taylor aka Mrs. Coach: Virgo

Friday Night Lights would be nothing without Tami Taylor, her love of wine, and undying support for her husband. Tami is there at the drop of a hat for any of her friends or family, but she also knows what's best for her. She's organized, driven, and wants everyone around her to succeed. Tami worked her way up from guidance counselor to principal and eventually moved to Pennsylvania. She was the ultimate companion, wife, and supporter of coach, which is why she needed him to make a sacrifice for her and transition to Pennsylvania.

Coach Taylor: Scorpio

Coach Eric Taylor happens to be one of the most life-changing characters on television. His intensity, mysticism, passion, and leadership are all Scorpio qualities. Books could be written about Coach Taylor's impact on his players. He treated his players and peers with respect. Coach's home was always open to those in need. He backed up Riggins for his parole hearing. Coach moved to Pennsylvania for his wife's dream job. He was a college coach for a hot sec and realized his home was in Dillon. He turned crappy football teams into champions. Coach Taylor embodied Scorpio traits with his constant insight, romantic gestures, and advice.Coach knew how to sting when necessary, but he always found ways to solve problems. Scorpios are some of the most intense and powerful signs in the zodiac, and he made sure everyone felt the true power of CLEAR EYES, FULL HEARTS, CAN'T LOSE.

Steph Curry is a Pisces

Aliza Faragher

In case you are unaware of the revolution occurring in professional basketball right now, there's one player who has single-handedly helped transform the NBA this past year. Stephen "Steph" Curry is the point guard for the Golden State Warriors, who won the championship last year and are breaking just about every other basketball record this season. Curry is setting record after record, but he remains incredibly humble and has quickly become an A-List Hollywood celeb. So, he's a fantastic basketball player and father, but he's also a Pisces.

Pisces love including others, and Curry is all about team chemistry creating cohesion

He loves PDA....with his ADORABLE kids, Riley and Ryan

He has turned watching basketball into a magical and spiritual experience

Steph could be selfish and made himself the center of attention, but instead, he and Klay Thompson are the "Splash Brothers"

Pisces and Scorpios are super compatible, which is why his budding friendship with Drake (a Scorpio) is perfect

It basically made national news that Drake and Steph and Ayesha Curry went to In n Out after a game. Plus, Drake even mentions Steph in one of his songs.

It basically made national news that Drake and Steph and Ayesha Curry went to In n Out after a game. Plus, Drake even mentions Steph in one of his songs.

It's pretty much impossible to discuss basketball without mentioning Steph Curry. Steph is a game-changing player and icon sticking true to his Pisces roots.

Top Bachelor Moments This Season

Aliza Faragher

It's pretty hard to believe that this season of The Bachelor is almost over. Ben had his fair share of sane, crazy, and boring women this season. It was definitely a whirlwind and there were numerous high points and low points throughout the season. Instead of a normal episode of The Bachelor, The Women Tell All aired instead and there was a lot of confrontation but also closure for the women. Lace apparently stops describing herself as "crazy" and now watches her facial expressions. Olivia apologized but then got attacked once again by everyone else. Emily and Haley still look the same and Sushanna spoke for once. Since that's the gist of the episode, let's look back on some of the best moments throughout the season before Ben proposes to someone next week.

Ice Cube & Kevin Hart showed up

Mandi wore a rose on her head

When Olivia did this and it was flawless

Lace quoted her tattoo and got upset when Ben didn't make eye contact with her

When Ben thought it would be a "fun date" to go swimming with pigs

When Lauren's brother asked Ben during the hometown date if he would take Lauren to the fantasy suite

To which Ben replied to the puberty-aged brother, "I would never put your sister in a compromising situation" *insert wine chugging here*

When fantasy suite week was at a Sandals Resort

Last but certainly not least....the chicken enthusiast

gone too soon

gone too soon

Who will Ben choose? Will Caila really be the next Bachelorette? So many feels, so many theories. Who will settle with Ben to visit Warsaw, Indiana on a regular basis?!
